This course will help you will develop your skills and knowledge for studying or working in business, enterprise, marketing, finance or accounting, specialising in either marketing or finance in the second year. Emphasis is on understanding why business skills and knowledge are important, particularly in a work-related environment. You will attend master classes and Q and A sessions with industry experts, visit companies and exhibitions, take part in enterprise activities and competitions and network with industry and former students about their experiences.

The course is assessed throughout the year with work placement observations, in class tests, presentations, projects, reports, essays and externally assessed exams. You will be required to pass all external exams, complete all coursework and receive positive feedback from your work placement officer in order to achieve your qualification.
This course will support learners who want to progress directly to employment in job roles in business or business management and/or provide a solid platform to progress onto Higher Education degree or apprenciship programs.
